Day
01: Arrival, Yangon <coach>
Arrive at Yangon airport and transfer to your hotel.
Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British
transformed it into their administrative center of future
India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage
makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South
East Asia. Upon a brief fresh up at your hotel commence
Yangon city tour. Tour highlight: Shwedagon Pagoda claimed
to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand and
five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters
above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold.
Karaweik known to be a royal barge on the royal lake for
the fantastic photo view. Walk around central post office,
historic Strand, custom house and high court to observe
the colonial heritage in Yangon and proceed to Bogyoke
market, a famous shopping center to enjoy display of
Myanmar superlative handicrafts. Overnight in Yangon.
Day
02: Yangon - Bagan <flight /coach>
Early morning transfer to airport for your 75 minutes
flight to Nyaung Oo, gateway to Bagan a destination that
certainly deserves the status as one of the great wonders
of the world.
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. After a brief fresh
up commerce Bagan archaeological tour. Tour highlights:
Shwezigon Pagoda with its magnificent golden stupa, Wetkyi
Inn Gubyaukgyi temple to observe original 12 century Mural
paintings, frescoes and base-relief works, Anandar temple,
the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture and
near by brick monastery, one of the few survived from
Bagan period. Thabyinnyu, the highest monument of
universal science, Gawdawpalin, one of the largest and
most imposing monuments in Bagan, Dhammyangyi, unique of
double Image of Buddha, Shwesandaw temple for panoramic
view of entire ruins. Visit traditional Lacquer-ware
workshops to observe the process of making this unique
Myanmar souvenir. Enjoy fantastic sunset view from one of
the ruins. Overnight in Bagan.
Day
03: Bagan - Heho - Pindaya - Inle Lake <flight>
If you are enthusiastic enough you may enjoy the sunrise
from one of the ruin. Breakfast at hotel and transfer to
airport for your Heho bound flight. Upon arrival transfer
to unique Pindaya cave <approx 2 hour> known, to the
world as the home of the countless Buddha Images in its
extensive lime stone caves and picturesque lake. Explore
around wonder of the mystery cave and Shan traditional
paper umbrella making process. Proceed <approx 2
hour> through a scenic drive to Myanmar best known
sight of Inle Lake. The lake shores and floating villages
are mostly inhabited by the Intha people, a tribe of Mon
descent. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day
04: Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon < boat / flight>
Traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for
nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique
traditions of the Intha people. Breakfast at hotel and
board on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a
sightseeing tour of the lake. You may wonder unique leg
rowing fishermen, floating firms <built up from strips
of water hyacinth and mud which anchored to the bottom
with bamboo poles>, houses and monasteries on the tilt,
famous Phaungdaw Oo pagoda housing five sacred and almost
shapeless Buddha images, and cottage industries. Afternoon
visit floating village of Ywama, the lake's downtown, the
weaving village of Inpawkhon and the Ngaphechaung, a
museum like monastery where old belongings of many
monasteries are restored. Afternoon transfer to Heho for
your return flight to Yangon. Upon arrival transfer to
hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
Day
05: Departure
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your
onwards flight to complete this unique experience.
