Day
01: Arrival Yangon
Arrival at Yangon International airport and transfer to
your hotel. Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since
the British transformed it into their administrative
center of future India. Its impressive colonial and
spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most
fascinating capitals of South East Asia. Upon a brief
fresh up continue Yangon city tour. Tour highlight:
Shwedagon Pagoda, which is claimed to be the world richest
golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered
with 60 tons of pure gold, Karaweik known to be a royal
barge on royal lake for the fantastic photo view. Stroll
around Yangon down town with its faded colonial
atmosphere. Visit Bogyoke market, used to call as Scott
market a famous shopping center to enjoy display of
Myanmar superlative handicrafts. Overnight in Yangon.
Day
02: Yangon - Bago - Yangon <coach>
Breakfast at hotel and depart for Bago <approx 1½
hour>. En-route stop at the Shwenyaungpin Nat shrine to
appeal for a safe journey, visit the Allied war cemetery
with graves of 27,000 Allied soldiers who died in the
Myanmar and Assam campaigns of WW II. Proceed to Kyaikpun
Phaya with four sitting Buddha images and the world
largest and authentic reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha Image
measuring 55 meters long and 16 meter high. Visit
attractive Bago market, region highest Shwemawdaw Pagoda
of 144 meter height and a walk to the Hinthagone Pagoda,
the place where Bago was founded. End your day with a
visit of Hanthawadi palace site surrounding a former Mon
palace ground have been excavated with walled in the Mon
style, the square city measured 1.8 km along each side.
The palace compound in the center known as "Kambawzathadi"
housed king "Bayinnaung of 1553 - 1599. Return to
Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.

03: Departure
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for your
